Happy New Year!

Wow, what a cruise! Paul was here, and we had a good time. Relaxing. Did lots of tours. Missed two major ports because of natural disasters. Firstly, we missed Fjordland, which would have been really cool, except we had rough seas right out.... then on Christmas Eve, we had the 4.9 earthquake aftershock in Christchurch, so we were unable to go into town on that day. We were on a boat doing a wildlife cruise, which was awesome. Saw the rarest dolphins in the world. The Hector's Dolphins, and I have a video I will post when i get a better connection to upload it with. Aside from that, we did the Arataki Honey farm, and other assorted voyages across land and sea. Took tons of pictures, of course, and I will post some of the better ones. The glowworm grotto was amazing.... thought of my neice, Gaby the whole time, and I wish she could have seen it. Some day, I hope she gets all the way over to New Zealand to see the wonders, or at least the giant spiders and the glow worms. Enjoy the pics...

The crooked lighthouse is earthquake damage from the September Christchurch earthquake... the stained glass window is in the Te Papa museum in Wellington... where the mean lady in the wheelchair hit the child with her cane and then caused a scene. Not a fun tour, to say the least.
